Post Fifteen, Repeal Day New Beer Announcement
Good afternoon all,
I am very excited to announce, on Prohibition Repeal Day, the newest member to our year round beer lineup. We have been cranking out limited and seasonal beers for the last 10+ months, our year rounders being Brownie (American Brown Ale), Charrette (Belgian Rye IPA) and Born to Ruin (West Coast Style DIPA). This new beer we have been working on for a while, it is a relatively simple style of beer and our research, test batches, tastings and tweaks have finally paid off and it is ready for release. This Friday, 12/9 in the tasting room will be the first tapping of a keg of it and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.
The style is an American cream ale. It has every characteristic of the style, smooth, crisp, refreshing, light and well balanced. We are calling it Circuit, after the Asbury Park landmark that you can read more about here. The beers stats are 4.2% alcohol by volume, 16 IBUs, 3.2 SRM. We hopped it lightly with hops that are non-traditional in the style, giving it a subtle fruity nose, hints of pear and apple. It is the perfect gateway craft beer, there is something in it for everyone.
We hope to see you on Friday to share in the first keg with us, if not, it will start hitting our accounts throughout the state as of next Monday. We'd love to hear what you think of it. Thanks for the read!
